申报条件

申报人尚未全职回国（来华）工作，或在2023年1月1日后回国（来华）工作；引进后须辞去海外工作或在海外无工作，并全职回国工作不少于3年。

01   领军人才

1. 取得博士学位；
2. 在海外著名高校、科研机构担任相当于副教授及以上职务，或在国际知名企业担任高级职务的专业技术人才；
3. 在本学科取得突出成绩。

02   优秀青年人才

1. 出生日期在1984年1月1日（含）以后；
2. 取得博士学位；
3. 研究方向主要为自然科学、工程技术等；
4. 在2024年4月15日前，一般应在海外高校、科研机构、企业研发机构获得正式教学或者科研职位，且具有连续36个月以上工作经历；在海外取得博士学位且业绩特别突出的，可适当放宽工作年限要求。

申报流程

01   领军人才

项目申报截止时间预计为4月中旬，具体申报要求待官方通知。

02   优秀青年人才

1. 符合条件的优秀青年项目申请人，可按照项目指南要求，与依托单位签订工作合同或者意向性协议，于2024年2月1日以后登录信息系统，在线填写《国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目（海外）申请书》。申请人对所提交申请材料的真实性负责。
2. 依托单位在规定的项目申请截止日期（2024年4月15日）前提交本单位电子申请书及附件材料。

03   申报方式

1. 登录香港中文大学（深圳）数据科学学院招聘系统进行投递：http://academicrecruit.cuhk.edu.cn/sds

02   Allowances

Leading Talent: 

• 6.1 to 8.5 million yuan talent subsidy from the government and the University

Young Talent: 

• 2.79 to 4.31 million yuan talent subsidy from the government and the University

03   Funding

Leading Talent: 

• 3 million yuan from national research funds
• 2.5 to 6.5 million yuan from the University research start-up funds

Young Talent: 

• 1 to 3 million yuan from national research funds
• 1.5 to 5 million yuan from the university research start-up funds

04   Other Supports

1.  Research:
Fine office and experimental environment, research team and administrative secretary are equipped;

2.  Housing:
On-campus staff residential apartments and off-campus government housing;

3.  Other:
Children’s schools (affiliated kindergarten, primary school, and junior middle school), spouse employment support, and supplementary commercial insurance.

Position Specifications

Eligible applicants are those who have not yet come back to China to work full-time, or those who have come back to China to work since Jan. 1st, 2023. Successful applicants are required to work full-time for 3 years at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

01   Leading Talent

1. Applicants should 
2. Have obtained a doctorate degree from a world-renowned university;
3. Be a Professor/Associate Professor or equivalent in a prestigious university or R&D institute, and/or a senior technical or managerial professional in an international company or financial institution; 
4. Have made outstanding achievements in their field. 

02   Young Talent:

1. Be born after Jan. 1st, 1984; 
2. Have obtained a doctorate degree;
3. Have research directions mainly in the natural sciences, engineering technology, etc.
4. Have no less than three years of continuous research and/or teaching experience abroad in a prestigious university or R&D institute prior to April 15, 2024 (exceptions will be given to applicants who have obtained their doctoral degree overseas with extraordinary research achievement).
