About Mini Camp

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, School of Data Science's 2024 Outstanding College Students Summer Camp - Mini Camp Shanghai Session is now actively recruiting!

The summer camp organized by the School of Data Science (Open to junior students only) aims to select outstanding university students worldwide, issue pre-admission offers in advance, and continue their studies in Data Science, Financial Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics programs.

During the summer camp, the school will conduct written tests/interviews for selection. Outstanding campers will have the opportunity to obtain pre-admission qualifications for the 2025 academic year and entrance scholarships, with the highest possible full-tuition scholarships.

Application Guide

Application Materials

1.Undergraduate transcripts for the first 2 years (or first 5 semesters) with official stamps from the department/academic affairs office.

*Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of the official complete transcripts and GPA calculation explanations. If the transcript does not include the GPA or overall grade point, please also upload an official document from the school certifying the weighted average grade. It is recommended to merge multiple documents into one PDF file for upload.

2.Undergraduate class ranking for the first 2 years (or first 5 semesters) with official stamps from the department/academic affairs office.

Access the online application portal at: https://apply.cuhk.edu.cn/matrix-base/tsc/login, click on "Admissions Application" to enter the page.

3.Copies of relevant English language proficiency certificates, such as TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, etc.

4.Personal statement (in English): Approximately 600 words.

5.Curriculum Vitae/Resume (in both Chinese and English).

6.At least two recommendation letters.

Applicants are required to provide recommender information through the online application system. After submitting the application, the system will automatically send instructions for submitting recommendation letters to the recommender's email. Recommenders should follow the instructions in the email to submit the recommendation letters.

7.Other supporting documents include:

2.    Summer camp applications do not require recommendations from undergraduate institutions.
