SDS M.Sc. in Financial Engineering Programme Collaborates with Industry to Explore a New Era of Finance in Hong Kong
As economic globalisation enters a new phase, global financial markets are evolving rapidly. Hong Kong, as an international financial centre, is becoming increasingly prominent. The M.Sc. in Financial Engineering programme at the School of Data Science (SDS), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), remains committed to supporting student development by consistently offering high-quality career opportunities and professional guidance.
On 3 May 2024, SDS's M.Sc. in Financial Engineering programme, in collaboration with industry associations, hosted a master lecture event titled "Hong Kong’s Untapped Potential as a Global Financial Centre." This event opened a gateway for students into the world of finance in Hong Kong. The master lecture was co-organised by the Asia-Pacific Structured Finance Association (APSA) and the Asian Academy of International Law (AAIL), with strong support and sponsorship from the CUHK Centre for Financial Engineering, the CUHK-Shenzhen School of Data Science, and China Construction Bank (Asia).
