Peers’ Tea Talk - Research Experiences Sharing

On April 29th, the SDS UG Career Team hosted the eighth Peers' Tea Talk about Research Experience Sharing, inviting Mr. Yao and Mr. Liu to share their experiences. They both emphasized the importance of extensive exploration and the courage to try, as well as the professors' openness and encouragement for students to actively explore research and their willingness to provide relevant research opportunities. Mr. Yao further emphasized the necessity of solid academic foundations and methods of securing research opportunities beyond the university. Mr. Liu also shared that during the research phase, it is recommended to start with the basics and progressively develop your own insights, but one should not overlook the value of teamwork to foster research progression. The insights shared by the seniors enlightened students about the challenges and opportunities encountered in the research journey.
