UCLA's Graduate Programs in Biostatistics and Research Sharing

On September 13, 2024, SDS UG Career Team hosted a research sharing and admissions seminar for the Master's and PhD programs of the Department of Biostatistics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The talk was given by Dr. Hua Zhou, a tenured professor of Biostatistics at the UCLA School of Public Health, professor of computational medicine in the School of Medicine, and director of the Master of Science in Data Science for Health (MDSH) program. Dr. Zhou introduced his team's research results (Statistical Methods and Computational Algorithms for Analyzing Biobank Data) and the UCLA Department admissions information. Additionally, the scene features nearly 60 students engaging in interactive exchanges.
