On April 20, 2025, the School of Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen successfully held the launching ceremony of its first Industry Mentor Program. With the theme of "Guiding Career Paths · Sailing Toward the Future", university and school leaders, along with 32 elite industry mentors, gathered together with 128 students to jointly witness the official launch of the 2025 Industry Mentor Program. The mentors cover a range of cutting-edge fields including internet technology, artificial intelligence, big data analysis, and fintech. Their professional backgrounds and rich experience provide strong support for students' career development.
The program aims to build a bridge between academia and careers by inviting senior industry professionals and outstanding alumni to serve as off-campus mentors. These mentors will offer students comprehensive career guidance, profound industry insights, and a more diverse international perspective, helping them take firm steps at the critical stage of transitioning from campus to the workplace.
