On May 9, 2025, 2025 SDS Capstone Project Final Presentation (Capstone Project) was successfully held at Dao Yuan Building. As the school’s first practice-oriented course offered to all undergraduate students, the event brought together representatives from 10 leading industry enterprises and nearly 100 outstanding students.

A total of 31 project teams delivered compelling presentations and exhibited posters showcasing the results of their four-month corporate practice projects. The course was supported by eight faculty members from the School of Data Science, including Professors Ruizhi Chen, Yu’ang Chen, Jianhua Huang, Sheng Jiang, Chuan Shi, Zhizheng Wu, Zizhuo Wang, and Ka Wai Tsang.

Each project was guided by a “dual supervisor system”, with supervision provided by both an academic supervisor from the SDS and an industry supervisor, ensuring a seamless connection between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.The event concluded with the presentation of nine “Best Presentation Award” and seven “Best Poster Award” to recognize outstanding student achievements.
