Embodied AI Center
The Embodied Intelligence Research Center is dedicated to creating an emerging ecosystem of embodied intelligence driven by artificial intelligence, advancing intelligent systems towards unparalleled autonomous adaptation and extensive generalization capabilities. By integrating cutting-edge theories in brain-inspired computing and multimodal artificial intelligence with applied advances in robotics and cognitive science, the center seeks to build a universal framework for physical intelligent agents that overcomes the limitations of traditional task-specific models. Our research spans key areas including multimodal sensing, reinforcement learning, imitation learning, continual learning, and intelligent agent control, aimed at developing systems capable of independent interaction, learning, and evolution in real-world settings.
Currently, the center boasts an interdisciplinary team composed of internationally renowned scholars, seasoned industry experts, and dynamic young scientists, representing fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, computer vision, cognitive science, and control engineering. Leveraging their expertise in international frontier research, the team focuses on exploring the fundamental theories, cognitive frameworks, and application paradigms of embodied intelligence. They are dedicated to addressing critical challenges in constructing universal intelligent agent
