The Workshop will take place during May 31-June 2, 2019 on the campus of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. This will be the 10th anniversary of the Mostly OM workshop, which was inaugurated in 2009 and continued every year at Tsinghua University.

The Mini Workshop on Healthcare and Service Operations Organized by Institute of Data and Decision Analytics Was Successfully Held at CUHK-Shenzhen

Professor Peter W. Glynn, Fellow of the U.S National Academy of Engineering and professor at Stanford University, gave an academic seminar at CUHK(SZ) on October 26th. Let’s take a brief review of the spectacular lecture.

Located in the vibrant city of Shenzhen, CUHK(SZ) aspires to achieve excellence in research and education. Recently inaugurated at CUHK(SZ), the Institute for Data and Decision Analytics (iDDA) is gaining momentum. We consider that now it is a good time for iDDA to gather some of the researchers and students in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area to exchange their most recent research findings in the theory and applications of optimization. The workshop will start in the afternoon of August 9, 2018, to be continued in the morning of August 10.

On July 20th, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen("CUHK-Shenzhen") held a press conference to announce the establishment of The Institute for Data and Decision Analytics ("Institute"), CUHK-Shenzhen. Two world-renowned scholars Professor Jim Dai and Professor Zhang Yin will serve as Co-Directors of the Institute.

The 2018 ACM SIGMETRICS Achievement Award is given to Jim Dai for his fundamental contributions to the analysis of the stability of queueing network with applications to computer and communication systems.
