Dr. Yuang Chen is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) at the School of Data Science at CUHK-Shenzhen. Prior to joining CUHK-Shenzhen, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Master of Analytics program at Georgia Tech Shenzhen Institute, where he was recognized with multiple teaching awards, including the Georgia Tech Student Recognition of Excellence in Teaching: CIOS Honor Roll Award. Dr. Chen earned his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Georgia Tech. His research focus on stochastic optimization and data-driven decision making, with applications in energy and water systems.
