Biography

Dr. Mengmeng Liu is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) at the School of Data Science at CUHK-Shenzhen. She is the Undergraduate Program Director for the Computer Science and Engineering program. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor in the Master of Computer Science program at the Georgia Tech Shenzhen Institute (GTSI), where she received the Georgia Tech Student Recognition of Excellence in Teaching Award. Earlier, she worked as a Big-Data Engineer at FINRA in the United States for two years. With a multidisciplinary background in geography, remote-sensing image processing, transportation data analytics, and computational science, Dr. Liu’s research focuses on data-driven spatial sustainability assessment, spatiotemporal data analysis, data visualization, and Applications of Artificial Intelligence.
