Yiming Miao is currently a Research Assistant Professor of The School of Data Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She received the Ph.D degree in School of Computer Science and Technology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China in 2021. She also received the B.Sc. degree in Department of Computer Application Technology at Qinghai Univerisity, Xining, China in 2016. She has published 30+ papers in journals including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation System, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, IEEE Network, Future Generation Computer Systems. Her research interests include Affective Computing, Edge Computing, 5G Mobile Communication System, Internet of Things, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Robotics, Blockchain and Wireless Sensor Network, etc. She is reviewer of IEEE WCM, IEEE Network, IEEE TII, IEEE TITS, FGCS, Journal of Circuits, Systems, and Computers (JCSC), ACM Computing Surveys (CSUR). She was the Symposium Chair for International Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing Conference (IWCMC 2022 & 2021), the Web Chair for 12th EAI International Conference on Testbeds and Research Infrastructures for the Development of Networks & Communities (TRIDENTCOM 2017) and the Local Chair for 7th International Conference on Cloud Computing (CloudComp 2016).
