个人简介

Polyzos教授是香港中文大学(深圳)数据科学学院的教授,他在希腊雅典国立技术大学获得电气工程专业的学位证书,在加拿大多伦多大学获得电气工程专业的硕士学位以及计算机科学专业的博士学位。随后,他加入了加州大学圣地亚哥分校(UCSD),担任计算机科学与工程教授、计算机系统实验室的共同主任、UCSD无线通信中心指导委员会成员,以及圣地亚哥超级计算中心的高级研究员。之后,他转到雅典经济与商业大学(AUEB)担任计算机科学教授,在那里他创立并领导了移动多媒体实验室,并担任计算机科学研究生项目主任。

Polyzos教授曾指导或共同指导了16名博士生,并监督了许多研究生和本科生的论文及项目。他已发表300多篇经过同行评审的论文,其出版物的引用次数超过12000次(H指数48)。他目前的研究兴趣包括安全与隐私、分布式系统与区块链、互联网架构与协议、物联网、智能电网、智能城市、供应链透明度与可追溯性、数字身份、计算机与通信系统性能分析。
