个人简介

Avishai Mandelbaum教授现任香港中文大学(深圳)教授一职。Mandelbaum教授于1983年获得康奈尔大学运筹学博士学位。他拥有数学和计算机科学与统计学双硕士学位,均以最高荣誉从特拉维夫大学毕业。

Mandelbaum教授有丰富的研究及教学经验。1983年,他在斯坦福大学研究生商学院开启了他的教学生涯。之后他于1991年回到以色列并成为以色列理工学院的教职人员。自2014年至2018年,他曾任院长一职,在此期间,IE&M转向了“数据驱动”的学院,他领导以色列理工学院开创了数据科学与工程领域本科课程。Mandelbaum教授在2007年联合建立了以色列理工学院服务企业工程实验室并担任学术主管。

Mandelbaum教授的研究领域涵盖随机模型(分析,渐近,控制),统计和运筹学,并应用于排队论理论/科学,服务系统(例如医院,远程服务)和数据科学。他的研究和教学活动享负盛名。他获得了Technion Yanai学术教育卓越奖,Technion Taub学术卓越奖和就职服务研究创新奖等荣誉奖项。此外,他的研究活动吸引了来自多方的投资,如以色列科学基金会,美国以色列两国科学基金会。Mandelbaum教授是美国运筹学与管理科学研究协会(INFORMS)以及制造业与服务业经营管理协会(MSOM)会士。教授曾于数本该领域的顶级期刊中担任副主编职位,如运筹学数学与科学管理和排队系统。
